November 13th Van Moses (Colored) Complains that Mr Henry Howard hired his daughter refuses to pay for her services or let her return to her father. Dec 21st 1867 Respectfully returned to Capt A Rutherford Sub Asst Comr 4th Sub Dist. N.C. Investigated the within complaint and find that the girl "Reley" is nearly of age and that she is staying at Mr Howards from choice. And by request of Moses the complaint is withdrawn L. Echelberry Lt S A.S.A. Comr C.B. Vol. 6 27"
