Mr Vogelle Sir the girl whitch you wrote to me concerning is still liveing at the ePatt hills i am informed that she is not bound to him he had the girl hired out about 3 miles in the country for five or six years untill after the surrender. he then sent and had her brought to his house again where she is still liveing i have allso learned that the girl was treated very badly winter before last and allso this she was made to stand in the pasage of the house and knit and she is very badly frost bitten besides she was beaten badly at all times and in general she is treated very cruel indeed as i was informed i have learned this from those that are liveing on the same lot with the girl
