A proposition is made to impose upon Rowan Co the care of all the destitute sick now in the Genl Hospital of the Bureau, simply because the institution is within the limits of that County, is as selfish a proposal as could be made, particularly after that County has responded in the most prompt manner by accepting the charge of as many of these destitutes as New Hanover County is requested to take.
