The girl "Chany" in question was left by Adam with Mrs. J. B. Daves near Corner Market & Sixth Street, house known as "Grants Cottage" just after the surrender for her feed clothing and education and delivery to him, Adam, and demand. Chany has been seduced away from Mrs. J. S Davis as before mentioned.  I would suggest that Mrs. J. E. Davis could give some information of Chany's whereabouts.
