looks I should say she was going to the Devil as fast as any body even travels that way, and my advice to you is, if you care for Lucy and would save her from disgrace & mysery to take her home as quick as you can get her there and not leave her in this God forsaken town to be made use of by her pretended friends, & kinfolks, I would not take her back in my family now for any consideration and I am sure there is not a respectable family that would.
