Mr. U. S. Amey

Sir
I received your message to day; Sir Mr. Amey this is my brothers child & [[strikethrough]] his [[/strikethrough]] brother is dead; I went to the woman and ask her for the child twice; knowing that she was not able to maintain the child, the child was bear headed & bear footed & nearly nicked all over; & this woman has conducted her self very badly, sensed her husbands deth, she has got a negrow baby; this Mr. Amey I am able to prove by good & reliable men, and under the present circumstanse. I takened the child; the child is now at Mr. K. S. Outlaws & is very well satisfide. I should lik to get & answer from you the first opertunity; Yours very Respectfully
