I, P W. Fanning, a resident of this city County, N.C., am personalth acquainted with Mrs. Jane Prow  [[?]] White, who is destitute &, who resides in this city county, N. C., and state, to the best of my knowledge and belief, that she is, for want of employment unable to maintain herself, and has no friends to assist her, and is worthy of charity from the government.
