Printmaker to share technique

Printmaker and papermaker Zarina Hashmi will present a slide-lecture on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. in the Anderson Center for the Arts Theatre at Hartwick College.

She will be demonstrating some of her techniques in the intaglio medium in a workshop at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Anderson Center printshop (room 229).

Originally from India, Hashmi has lived, studied and worked in Thailand, Paris, London, West Germany and Japan. Her background includes extensive involvement in a variety of print mediums, papermaking and feminist art publications.

The lecture and workshop are sponsored by the Hartwick Art Department and Special Programs Office as well as the New York Foundation for the Arts.
