Women Stress Humanitarian Uses Of Plane

Humanitarian possibilities of the airplane were the keynote of principal speakers at the breakfast luncheon given in honor of visiting women pilots of the All-American Air maneuvers, by Dade County Federation of Women's clubs at Alcazar hotel yesterday.

The theme was embodied in a prayer offered by Mrs. L. J. McCaffrey, past president of the federation as follow:

"Almighty God, as our eyes turn upward at the drone of airplane motors, we lift grateful hearts that they herald the entrants in the All-American Air maneuvers meeting in Miami for the 13th time.

"We trust that such a sound shall always mean a friendly approach, and that we may never know the fear that would come with enemy planes. Grant to the president of the United States and all in authority wisdom and strength to know and do Thy will so that the peace and security we know shall not pass.

"Bless this food to the nourishment of our bodies that we may continue in Thy service, Amen."
