Wing of Mercy Ball At Colonial Inn Draws Florida Socialites
Dr. Louis Reulling of Palm Beach, Mrs. Meade Johnson of Evansville, Ind., and Joseph B. Widener (left to right) form one table party at last night's spectacular "Relief Wings" Mercy ball at Ben Marden's Colonial Inn. Right, Showman Harry Richman auctions off a rhinestone-studded bag, which later sold to Virgil Moore for $40. Chinese aviatrix, Ya-Ching Lee, donated Chinese objects d'art, including a mandarin's robe, that went to Mrs. Lillian Hurley of Detroit for $200, for the charity sale. A case of Cutty-Sark Scotch brought the most bids.
