First girl to win a pilot's license from the Chinese government, and a graduate of California's Boeing flying school, Lee Ya Ching comes under Friends of China auspices to raise funds for the Chinese Red Cross. After a civic reception and visit here she goes to Hamilton. [[?]] ESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 1941 THE GLOBE AND MAIL, TORONTO, TU[[?]] Coming Here [[image]] LEE YA-CHING, Famous Chinese aviatrix, the first woman in China to obtain a pilot's license, who will arrive in Toronto today along with forty American airmen in a flight sponsored by the Canadian Red Cross campaign for China. She will join the air cavalcade at Hamilton and is expected to arrive at Malton Airport at 1 p.m.
