Miss Lee Ya-Ching, first woman aviatrix of China, was a visitor yesterday at the Field Museum of Natural History.  Miss Lee, who is touring the United States in the interest of the United China Relief, paid special attention to the museum's Chinese collections, including the ancient Chinese marble lion.

Lucky if you had six inches between yourself and the next fellow. We were supposed to take on more wounded down the coast, but already there were so many aboard we had to un-load 50 beds and make straight for Australia.

Emmet Gibson of Maywood, Ill., went thru a battle in a tank and was unhurt. But he left the tank to take a report to headquarters on motorcycle -- and was injured in an accident. 

Churchill to Discuss War Situation Before Commons
LONDON, April 16 ([[?]]) -- Prime Min-ister Winston Churchill will make a statement on the war situation to an early session of the house of commons which probably will be secret. Foreign Minister Anthony Eden told the house today. 

Navy Eases Commission Education Requirements
Washington, D.C., April 16 ([[?]]) - The navy invited both regular and re-serve enlisted men today to seek com-missions as ensigns in the naval re-serve even tho they may not have the usual college education qualifica-tions. A man who has been on active duty six months may apply for office training even tho he has successful completed only three years of college work. One who has been on active duty 12 months need have only years of college training.
