Discuss briefly China's sudden interest in aviation as compared with her own interest, and its encouragement by her father.

Lead into family background, grandmother's and Father's defiance of tradition - their active support of revolution which established China as a Great Republic.

Discuss fact that she was father's son as well as daughter, was granted exceptional opportunities to play an active part in China's development. Here, point out that contrary to popular opinion, Chinese women have always played important part in life of China - but behind scenes. Miss Lee was one of new generation to play important part publicly. (Somewhere in here include a story of Empress and jade rings.)

Outline of her education. Famous "firsts". Development of career. Boeing School. Parachute story and becoming member of Caterpillar Society. Taught aviation in China (1 girl and rest boys.) Did Chinese war relief work Shanghai and Hong Kong. This can lead into brief account of Chinese war relief. What funds collected in this country are used for in China. Women's part in this work.

Return to America. Active part in Chinese War Relief. Has been here six years. Just returned from South America on Good Will tour. Wants people to understand China and her post war plans. The part aviation will play and its tie-up with Miss Lee and her future plans.
