Since the outbreak of the war in the Pacific the resistance war of China and the anti-aggression war of the world have met in one big line. The revolutional spirit, inspired by justice and rightousness and the freedom of mankind is shining [[crossed out]] lighter and [[/crossed out]] brighter with every day.
On January 1942 all peace-loving countries of the world signed a common declaration pf anti-aggression in Washington. This is the crystallization of the revolutional spirit of resistance against brutal forces. The chinese government, based upon their national policy of revolution,- [[crossed out]] decided upon already, [[/crossed out]]- has signed this declaration together with the other anti-aggressive nations.
After this, China has become one of the Big Four Powers.
During this period,Great Britain and the USA had no sufficient preparations in the Pacific and this gave Japan the chance of aggression everywhere and the possibility of attack without fail.
Just in this favourable moment a battle was fought in Chăngshă, China, which resulted into a war of anihilation against our enemy. This battle [[chinese characters]] means a deadlock in the spirit of our enemy during the first period of the war in the Pacific and has taught Japan that the power of the chinese army still exists and will continue to be the fatal wound of our enemy. Owing to this knowledge, Japan, after having occupied Malaya and Indochina in the west, did not dare to invade India. Having taken the Dutch East Indies and the Philipines they gave up the ambition of attacking Australia. After invading the Aleutian islands, they were not able to carry through their secret scheme of attacking Russia, plotted many years before. In those days of hesitation Britain and the USA found time to arrange their war front in West Asia and the South Pacific and to strengthen the defense of the northern part of the USA. Russia too, could concentrate her mind and force to deal with Germany. Since November 1942 the Allies victories on all battlefields put Japan into the desperate situation of being surrounded in all directions without knowing what to do. Even their Axis- comrades could reproach them of unfaithfulness and unloyalty,as they had lost so many chances.
