In these two last years, Japan has strived with all possible means to exploit the occupied area of China and the islands in the Pacific. But in the meantime China has been blocked from all sides and was not able to get any big scale assistance from outside. The interior resources of China could not develop to maintain the war. So China seems to weaken; but we are still firm and united in our purpose to continue the Resistance and will never give way to despair. Our Generalissimo has said once: "when victory is coming nearer, the sacrifices will be greater". China has to do her utmost and sacrifice her utmost. But at the same time, China needs the help of our allied nations more and more urgently, assistance of any kind and any sort to fight through to the victorious end.
