Colonel,
I have the honor most respectfully to report the following case to you, Viz.
Treecy Johnson, Stephen Johnson and Toddy Sanders
Freed people of this Sub-dist having appeared at this office, ask assistance in securing the release of the following named colored children, Viz - Anna, Fanny, Edmund, Eldridge, Rufus, Catherine, Toddy and Julia from the service of one Nathanial Jones, late of Johnston Co. and at present stopping at Haywood in Chatham Co., N.C. proposing soon to proceed to Arkansas.
