Dear Sir:

The Air Coprs is desirous of maintaining on file in this office a list of all civilian pilots residing in this Corps Area who would be willing to serve in the Air Corps of the Army in time of war or national emergency.

It is contemplated that such pilots as register and who have the necessary qualifications, upon mobilization will be given suitable rank and ordered to an established Air Coprs Unit for a short, intensive training period, upon satisfactory completion of which they will be commissioned in the Air Corps Reserve, U.S. Army.

An application blank is inclosed should you desire to register. 

Your attention is invited to the fact that you may be rated airplane pilot and commissioned in the Air Corps Reserve at the present time provided you are able to comply with existing requirements governing this matter.  One of these requirements is that you must have 200 hours as a pilot of heavier-than-air craft of which 100 hours or more as pilot of heavier-than-air craft, the requirments of 100 hours in aircraft of 300 or more horse power may be waived.

If you are interested in securing a Reserve commission, I shall be pleased to give you full information and such assistance as may be proper.
