Mr. John Groves,
Civil Aeronautics Authority
Private Flying Developement Division,
Washington, D.C.

Dear Mr. Groves:
Enclosed please find two copies of the applications, Form 15. I did not fill them out in Washington last week as you suggested, because I did not have all the necessary information available.

Please note that I have requested that you do not contact Unger Aircraft about my experience. Mr. Unger is never very obliging about writing letters of reference. May I instead, respectfully suggest that you write the manager of Hadley Field, New Brunswick, N.J., where Unger Aircraft is located. I am sure that the manager, Mr. Thomas Robertson, will give you any information you desire.

I have named the same personal references, that I used in filing my application for Assistant Aeronautical Inspector with the C.A.A. I would appreciate it if you used the information supplied by them to the Civil Service Commission at Washington, D.C., instead of contacting them again. I am sure that you can appreciate the fact that I do not want to bother them unnecessarily. However, should it be important to do so, I would not want the lack of that information, to stand in the way of getting a job.

In the application I stated that I desired a position as inspector with your division. I do not wish to be limited to seeking employment as inspector, only, I am looking for any job for which I am qualified, particularly, something that involves flying.

With many thanks for your interest in my application, I am

Very truly yours,

Michael A. Gitt
