Mr. Michael A. Gitt,
1569 Hone Avenue,
New York, N. Y.

Dear Mr. Gitt:

Referring to your telegram of the 8th instant, please write us your qualifications. We should like to know your age, whether married or single, education, number of hours, references, and by whom last employed.

It is possible there will be an opening here within the next two weeks for an instructor with ratings on 1 and 2-S ships. Salaries paid are based entirely on dual instruction at the rate of $2.00 per hour, with a minimum guarantee of $50.00 per month.

We have 20 students who have just been allocated to us under the new Civil Aeronautics Authority Training Program. These students must be given 8 hours instruction at the rate of $2.00 per hour, and 9 nine hours of check time at the rate of $1.00 per hour. In addition, we have about 25 regular dual students. You may draw your own conclusions as to your salary.

Living conditions in Raleigh are economical. Board and room can be obtained for $50.00 per month.

We shall appreciate your advising us if you would be interested in working with us as instructor on the above basis in the event the opening occurs. Final decision, of course, is to be made after a personal interview and trial period.

Very truly yours,
SERV-AIR, INC.
