December 29, 1938.

Mr. Michael A. Gitt,
519 N. 33rd Street,
Philadelphia, Penna.

Dear Sir:

Roosevelt Field, Inc. has turned over to us for reply your letter of December 27th requesting information pertaining to our course in instrument flying. We are pleased to furnish same herewith.

Our instrument training course is divided into two parts, elementary and advanced. The former consists of fifteen hours of instruction in the Link Trainer - covering flight on instruments and the proper use of all radio aids to navigation as required by the C. A. A. The second part of the course is devoted to the application of this knowledge to actual flight conditions, spending ten hours in the air on this work.

As outlined briefly above, the procedure of instruction is similar to that followed at present by all the major air lines as well as the armed forces in the country and conforms with the approved method of the C. A. A.

The fifteen hour course is $150.00 and the ten hour flight course $200.00. We are open daily, including Sunday and we would like the opportunity of showing you our equipment and giving you a demonstration in the Trainer.

Insofar as the length of time required for this course is concerned, that of course depends on the amount of time you can devote to it.

We trust we may have the opportunity of being of service to you.

Yours very truly,
AIRCRAFT RADIO AND INSTRUMENT TRAINING COMPANY, INC.
