MR. MICHAEL A. GITT
822 Park Avenue
Plainfield, New Jersey

Dear Mr. Gitt;
We wish to acknowledge and thank you for your application which has been forwarded to us from our Chicago Office.

We have carefully noted your qualification as listed on this application, and in our further consideration are contacting your references. With the exception of your educational background, we believe that your qualification will meet our standard specifications for a copilot applicant. Our requirements call for two years college education, preferably in engineering subjects, but exceptions to this requirement are made when an applicant has other qualifications which can be considered the equivalent.

It is suggested that when you are in the vicinity of New York, you contact our Mr. E.J. Martin, Assistant Superintendent of Flight Operations, for a personal interview.
When we have completed our consideration of your application, we will advise you accordingly.

Very truly yours
