Mr. George McCabe
Chief Pilot-American Airlines
La Guardia Airport
New York, N.Y.

Dear Mr. McCabe:

I called you on the telephone last Friday, (April12) to say hello, but found that you were in Boston.

I am still available for the position of First Officer by American Airlines or any other company. In the first interview you gave me last November, you said that if you cuoldn't place me with your company, you could probably do something for me with some other company. The last time you saw me you mentioned I might get a position with some other division of American Airlines.

I am writing to you as a friend, because in all my talks with you, I have felt that you were a friend and not a prospective employer.

Frankly I need a joband any Airline job you could help me get, I will greatly appreciate.

Very truly yours,

Michael A. Gitt
