maneuvered slowly.  Smoothness and accuracy are the important goals.
Impress on the student that there will be plenty of time for sightseeing when his training is finished.  Perfection of technique as early as possible is the objective toward which the student must work.
After solo, all efforts must be devoted to attaining greater precision, greater accuracy, better coordination, better orientation, and perfected judgment.  All of the maneuvers described in the remainder of this manual are for the purpose of aiding the student in attaining some particular phase of one or more of these objectives.
