NEW YORK INSTRUMENT PROCEDURES
INSTRUMENT DEPARTURE

1 - Southeast-East-Southwest and South Take-offs
Take off from the field and climb to an altitude of 500 feet, at this point make a left turn in the east "A" quadrant, continuing climb to, and intercepting but not crossing the northeast leg of the LaGuardia radio range at 1500 feet, then from this point proceed as follows:

(a) Northeast Course
Follow right side of northeast leg of the LaGuardia radio range, climbing to cruising altitude.

(b) North Course
Proceed along the northeast leg of the LaGuardia radio range to the Port Chester intersection then follow the southeast leg of New Hackensack, climbing to cruising altitude.

(c) Northwest Course
Assume a course to intercept the northeast leg of the Elizabeth radio range at the Bendix intersection, remaining on the right side of the northwest leg of the LaGuardia radio range, thence climb to cruising altitude proceeding on course.

(d) West Course
Assume a course to intercept the northeast leg of the Elizabeth radio range at the Bendix intersection remaining on the right side of the northwest leg of the LaGuardia radio range. From this point, flight will proceed on the northeast leg of the Elizabeth radio range, to the range station, then follow the west leg of the Elizabeth radio range to Allentown, climbing to cruising altitude.
