New York Instrument Procedures
Instrument Approach 

Definitions of Intersections used in these Procedures

Bendix - The intersection of the northeast leg of the radio range and the northwest leg of the LaGuardia radio range.
Freehold - The intersection of the northeast leg of the Philadelphia radio range and the southwest leg of the LaGuardia radio range.
Coney Island - The intersection of the southeast leg of the Elizabeth radio range and the southwest leg of the LaGuardia radio range. 
Metuchen - The intersection of the southeast leg of the Allentown radio range and the southwest leg of the Elizabeth radio range.
Port Chester - The intersection of the northeast legs of the Elizabeth radio range and the LaGuardia radio range. (Or the Port Chester Fan Marker). 
Keyport - The intersection of the southeast leg of the Allentown radio range and the southwest leg of the LaGuardia radio range. 

1 - Approach from the northwest
Flights will cross the Bendix intersection and the LaGuardia radio range station at a minimum altitude of 2500 feet. Then proceed out the southwest leg letting down to a minimum of 1500 feet. Approximately four minutes southwest of the range station a procedure turn will be made on the east side of the southwest leg, after which flights will proceed back to the range station, crossing the station at a minimum altitude of 1200 feet, then descend on the northeast leg to the airport.
