When received, Colonial's 1948 Aviation Safety Award will cover 19 consecutive years of operation, and approximately 250,000,000 passenger miles, without a single passenger or crew fatality. 

"SAFETY IS NO ACCIDENT,"
says Mr. Sigmund Jonas, President of Colonial Airlines, as Mr. Ned H. Dearborn, President of The National Safety Council ,presents him with the Council's celebrated Safety Award.

On April 18, 1949, Colonial Airlines will enter its 20th consecutive year of Safety is Operation.
