when used in regular scheduled operation on the route to which the pilot is assigned.
(c) In computing the additional pay for night flying, the actual night hours shall be used as defined in section 2(f). 
(d) In the event a scheduled or extra section flight held in flight is delayed due to airway traffic congestion at point of destination, or at the request of the Company for the time by which such flight exceeds the scheduled time from block to block.
(e) For the purpose of this section non-scheduled flights shall be construed to mean the flights defined as non-scheduled in section 2 (h).
(f) When a first pilot serves as a co-pilot for the purpose of qualifying or retaining his qualifications on a route or type of equipment, or at his own request and with the approval of the Company he shall receive his regular base pay only, and any mileage so flown shall not be included in his total monthly mileage for mileage pay computation purposes. When a first pilot is assigned by the Company to serve as a co-pilot on any flight other than for route and equipment qualifications while still retaining his status with the Company as a first pilot, he shall receive, in addition to base pay, hourly and mileage pay at the first pilot rate, except as otherwise provided herein. 

MILEAGE PAY COMPUTATION:
Sec. 6.
First pilots and reserve pilots shall be paid, in addition to other pay rates stipulated in this agreement, mileage pay at monthly mileages of under 10,000, 10,000 to 11,999 miles, inclusive, and 12,000 miles and more, respectively, 2¢, 1 1/2¢, and 1¢ a mile for all miles per hour flown at an hourly speed of more than 100 miles.

Sec. 7.
(a) In computing total mileage for the month over the routes flown, whether over regular or alternate routes, actual Federal Airway distances shall be used.
