   (b) On non-scheduled flights as defined in section 2(h), the mileage used shall be the point-to-point mileage on the route of a scheduled flight, alternate routes thereof, or over the Federal Airways on which definite mileage has been established. If the flight does not operate as stipulated in the preceding sentence and the actual ground point-to-point distances can not be determined, the mileage shall be established through the use of the time flown from block to block, and the speed shall be 155 mph for Douglas DC-2 and DC-3 equipment.
   (c) When a change in a calendar date occurs enroute, the date on which the trip originated shall be considered the date on which the trip was made and to which date all time for the trip for pay purposes only shall be credited. 

MINIMUM PAY RESERVE PILOTS:
Sec. 8.
   (a) On the days a reserve pilot flys as a first pilot and on the days that he flys as a co-pilot, he shall be paid in accordance with the respective pay differentials for such statuses stipulated in this agreement. For pay purposes, the pay for the days of each month that a reserve pilot does not fly as a first pilot or co-pilot shall be prorated in accordance with the number of days each month he does fly as a first pilot or co-pilot, respectively as follows:
   1. First pilot's non-flying days, his regular first pilot's base pay.
   2. Co-pilot's non-flying days, his regular monthly reserve pilot's minimum monthly pay as a stipulated in this section or his top bracket co-pilot's pay, whichever is greater, provided that his seniority entitles him to receive such top bracket co-pilot's pay.

   Notwithstanding any of the foregoing stipulations in this section, a reserve pilot shall be paid a monthly salary of not less than $350.00
   (b) Reasonable effort shall be made to schedule regularly assigned first pilots on regular schedules in a man
