(b) The pay scale outlined above shall apply to all co-pilots. Their seniority for pay purposes is to be computed on the actual length of service as a pilot with the Company, except as provided in this agreement.

(c) Co-pilots receiving more than the amounts set forth in paragraph (a) of this section at the time said scale is adopted or this agreement becomes effective, shall not have their pay reduced.

(d) Newly employed co-pilots shall be furnished on a uniform-cost-to-all basis their initial equipment - namely: all Company prescribed uniforms, coats, shirts, caps, flashlights, maps and kit bag, and any other initial equipment that may be required by the Company. Such equipment shall be furnished to a co-pilot for one year or less on a rental basis of $5.00 per month and if a co-pilot remains with the Company for less than one year, all of the aforenamed equipment shall be returned to the Company, and if he remains one year or longer with the Company, all of the aforenamed equipment shall be paid for him in amounts which shall conform to the uniform-cost-to-all amounts fixed at the time of his employment, and all rental payments paid by such co-pilot shall be applied to the total cost of such equipment.

DEADHEAD TIME:

5. Section 10 of the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows: 

(a) When a co-pilot deadheads under Company orders on a flight or part thereof on which he has previously designated as a member of the crew, he shall be credit with such time on his total flight time for the month.

(b)Pilots, when deadheading under orders from the Company, shall receive "Company Business" passes and shall be paid expenses in accordance with the provisions of Section 13.
