Notwithstanding any of the foregoing stipulations in this Section, a reserve pilot shall be paid minimum monthly salary of not less than the maximum amount as provided in Section 9, paragraph (a) of this Agreement.

(b) Reasonable effort shall be made to schedule regularly assigned first pilots on regular schedules in a manner which will as nearly as possible use up all their allowable monthly hours.

PAY CO-PILOT

8. Section 9 of the Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 9.  *(a) Co-pilots shall be paid minimum monthly salaries as follows:

One Year:   
First six months ------------- $280.00 per month
Second six months ------------  300.00 per month

Two Years  
Third six months -------------  320.00 per month
Fourth six months ------------  340.00 per month

Three Years 
Fifth six months -------------  360.00 per month
Sixth six months -------------  380.00 per month

Fourth Year and thereafter ---  440.00 per month

(b) The pay scale outlined above shall apply to all co-pilots. Their seniority for pay purposes is to be computed on the actual length of service as a pilot with the Company, except as provided in this Agreement.

(c) Co-pilots receiving more than the amounts set forth in Paragraph (a) of this section at the time said scale is adopted or this Agreement becomes effective, shall not have their pay reduced.

(d) Newly employed co-pilots shall be furnished on a uniform-cost-to-all basis their initial equipment - namely: all Company prescribed uniforms, coats, shirts, caps, flashlights, maps, and kit bags, and any other initial equipment that may be required by the Company. Such equipment shall be furnished to a co-pilot for one year or less on a rental basis of $5.00 per month and if a co-pilot for one year or less on a rental basis of $5.00 per month and if a co-pilot remains with the Company for less than one year, all of the aforenamed
