of vacation for each full month of continuous employment with the Company during the remainder of the calendar year after date of initial employment and such vacation will be given any time during the following succeeding year in the order of seniority.

(b) Pilots who have been in the service of the Company twelve (12) months as of January 1st of any year shall receive one-half month's vacation during the calendar year.

(c) 1. First pilots on base pay status shall be paid their regular base pay as stipulated in Section 3 of this Amendment plus an additional amount of $225.00 for one-half month's vacation.

2. A reserve pilot shall be paid $225.00 annually one-half months vacation pay.

(d) Co-pilots shall be paid the full co-pilots' pay to which their seniority shall entitle them for one-half month's vacation. When a co-pilot is on regular vacation for any part of a month, every effort shall be made to limit his flight time assignments for that month to a normal amount consistent with that portion of the month that he is on active status.

(e) Preference in the periods in which pilots shall be permitted to take their vacations shall be granted in the order of seniority at the station at which they are based, taking into consideration the requirements of the service.

(f) A pilot shall be notified in writing as far in advance as is practicable, but in no case less than two weeks in advance of the beginning of his vacation period. Vacation assignments established for pilots may be varied in case of emergency.

(g) Vacations shall not be cumulative and must be taken within the calendar year. However, in the event Company operations in any year do not permit any pilot his regular vacation during such year, he shall be so notified in writing by the Company and he shall be permitted to take such vacation in the succeeding year.

(h) Upon written request, any pilot shall be granted two weeks' military leave per year without pay, providing Company operations permit.
