With the maintenance set up at Montreal in effect since May 1st, evidently a lot of confusion exists. Apparently nobody turns the airplane "around"; also nobody is responsible for draining the sumps after refuelling. The log book is not signed off by a licensed mechanic. Nobody checks the oil for quantity. In short, all of these things happened or rather failed to happen, on my trip 9 last night (May 2, 1948) at Montreal.
