Section 3511-Route Procedure: New York-Montreal (Cont'd)
2. Instrument and over-the-top flights will proceed as follows:

A. New York to Montreal:
Conform to Airway Traffic Control instructions in leaving LaGuardia Field, then follow the Northeast Leg of LaGuardia range to Port Chester where a position report shall be given, then follow the Southeast Leg of the Steward Field range to Range Station where a position report shall be given, 
Or from Port Chester fly the Southeast Leg of Stewart to the intersection of the Southwest Leg of New Hackensack, then to the New Hackensack Radio Range Station where a position report shall be given. 
Or fly a fixed track between the LaGuardia Range Station and the New Hackensack Range Station, a course of approximately 10° where a position report shall be given. 
Or follow Northwest Leg of LaGuardia Range to Yonkers then to Patterson reporting position. From Patterson follow the Southwest Leg of New Hackensack to the New Hackensack Radio Range Station where a position report shall be given. 
Then follow the South Leg of the Albany range to the Albany Range Station where a position report shall be given. Proceed out the North Leg of the Albany range until the Burlington range is audible; then follow the Southeast Leg of the Burlington range to the Burlington Range Station(minimum altitude: 5000* ft.) where a position report shall be given. Immediately after proving position over the Burlington Range Station, proceed out the Northwest leg of the Burlington range until the "on course" of the South Leg of the Montreal range is audible(minimum instrument altitude: 1500 ft.) then to the Montreal Range Station. 

B. Montreal   New York:
After take-off, proceed directly as possible to the "on course" of the South Leg of the Montreal range climbing to a minimum altitude of 2500 feet. If landing is to be made at Burlington, the minimum altitude of 2500 feet shall be maintained until over the Grand Isle marker. if aural and visual marker signal is received descent to 1100 ft. can be made after passing Grand Isle marker. Cross range station at 1100 ft. and then descend to 1033 ft. and continue in accordance with approved procedure. If no landing is to be made at Burlington, continue climbing to minimum instrument altitude of 4000*ft. over Burlington or until on top, following the Northwest Leg of the Burlington range until over the the Burlington Range Station where a position report shall be given. Proceed out the Southwest Leg of the Burlington Range until Albany range is audible: then following the North Leg of the Albany range to the Albany Range Station where a position report shall be given. If landing at Albany is contemplated descent to 4000 ft. may be made made after crossing East leg of SR range and continuing descent so that the minimum altitude over Albany Range Station is 1200 feet for straight in approach. If no landing at Albany is contemplated, proceed out the South Leg of the Albany range until the North Leg of New Hackensack range is clearly audible. Then follow the North Leg of the New  Hackensack range to the New Hackensack range station. From New Hackensack proceed into the New York area at approved altitudes by one of the following approved procedures.
