4. If you fail a physical exam you get nothing unless your physical condition results from an accident in the line of duty. Otherwise you must have worked 10 years as a pilot or be over 50 years old. ------------------------------------------- 2A2

5. If while employed by an airline you are completely disabled, but not in the line of duty, you get nothing unless you have worked 5 years or are over 50 years old. ------------------------------------------- 2A3

6. If after leaving the employ of an airline you become completely disabled you get nothing unless you have previously had 10 years service or are over 55 years old. ------------------------------------------- 2A4

7. If you retire at 50 your pension is only 1/3 as much as at 60. ------------------------------------------- 2A5

8. The minimum pension of $200 does not cover non-occupational incurred disability or retirement before age 60. ------------------------------------------- 3D

9. To receive a pension greater than $200 you must have averaged more than $900 wages per month for more than 20 years. ------------------------------------------- 3A

10. Survivors cannot receive benefits from more than one pilot even though more than one pilot has paid into the fund. ------------------------------------------- 4E

11. Benefits from World War II Service are deducted from this pension. ------------------------------------------- 3I

12. Service prior to 1948 is computed on such a basis that the more hours a pilot flew in 1947 the more he is penalized. ------------------------------------------- 3C

13. Survivors of a pilot who earned $800 a month for 20 yrs receive only:

Each child, $57 per month until they are 21, then nothing more. ------------------------------------------- 4C

The total of all these benefits cannot exceed $228 per month. Any wages earned by children or parents are deducted from the benefit. ------------------------------------------- 4G
