Capt. M. A. Gitt;
Colonial Airline,
Boston, Mass.

My dear Gitt:

I would like to take this opportunity of extending to you the thanks and appreciation of UAL Council 57 for the excellent work you have done as a member of ALPA's pension committee. This was a difficult and lengthy assignment which made many demands on your time. In spite of all the obstacles in your path, you and your two fellow members came through with a workable plan for membership.

I personally hold the opinion that the plan as it now stands is most desirable and should be generally acceptable to the membership. It will sell readily if capable "demonstrated" and explained.

Again, let me say that Council 57 commends and is grateful to you for a job capably and well done.

Very truly yours,

Edward F. Kiessig
