CERTIFICATE

This is to certify that we, the undersigned members of the ALPA Ballot Certification Committee, have today carefully checked the count of ballots received at Headquarters cast by the membership on the proposition of whether or not the proposed retirement plan legislation submitted to the membership, should be approved or disapproved.

We find that there were a total of 2901 ballots cast, which were divided into the following categories:

1113 "FOR"

1656 "AGAINST"

132 VOIDED, for reasons of being not in good standing. See Art. III Sec. 9, Para. (d) and (e)

We, the undersigned members of the Ballot Certification Committee, having functioned in accordance with Art. VI, Sec. 2, Paragraph (b) of the Constitution and By-Laws, and under the authority vested in us, do certify that the above ballot tabulations are accurate, correct, and final, and direct that Headquarters furnish each member with a copy of this Certificate, duly signed, notarized, and properly executed.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF we have affixed our signatures, this 19th day of May, 1949.
