Dear Fred:

The striking National Pilots have been having a tough time and the end of their troubled path has not yet hove into sight. Therefore it behooves us as loyal members of ALPA to do something about it.

Council #28 has passed a resolution to that effect, and on the 25th of August at 19:30 Eastern Daylight Time, a dinner will be held at the Colonial House 158-06 Northern Blvd.

It would please the boys no end if you will accept this letter as an invitation as our honored guest. The feeling of the council is that we would like to do something on behalf of Dave Behncke and ALPA to let you know how much we appreciate what you did for the National Pilots. We are also inviting, as our guests, the locally based pilots of National Airlines.

Your presence at the dinner on the aforementioned evening will be eagerly looked for by Colonial Pilots of Council #28.

Sincerely yours,

Michael A. Gitt
Chairman,
Dinner Committee
