Position: TECHNICAL OFFICER (AERODROMES, AIR ROUTES AND GROUND AIDS)
Grade 3 - ($7,500 - $9,000 a year, Canadian funds)

Duties: To serve as Expert in the Aerodromes, Air Routes and Ground Aids Section; to study problems connected with the development and implementation of the AGA standards and recommended practices; to study problems relating to aerodrome physical charac-teristics, visual aids to air navigation, etc.; to attend technical meetings and to serve on the Secretariat for Divisional, Regional and other technical meetings as assigned. 

Desirable Qualifications: Training in engineering; familiarity with navigational and control equipment and procedures; flight experience.

Position: TECHNICAL OFFICER (METEOROLOGY) 
Grade 3 - $7,500 - $9,000 a year, Canadian funds) 

Duties: Under supervision of the Chief of the Meteorology Section to serve as Expert in the Section; to serve as a member of the Secretariat for Divisional and Regional Meetings; to study and prepare reports on questions of meteorological requirements for international aeronautics; to participate as assigned in technical joint support projects; to represent the Organization at meetings of other organizations where international meteorological practices are considered. 

Desirable Qualifications: Technical training and experience in meteorology; responsible experience in meteorological work at the administrative level.

Position: TECHNICAL OFFICER (RULES OF THE AIR AND AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL)
Grade 3 - $7,500 - $9,000 a year, Canadian funds 

Duties: Under the supervision of the Chief, Rules of the Air and Air Traffic Control Section, to conduct technical studies on roles of the air and air traffic control; to serve as a member of the Secretariat for divisional and other technical meetings; to analyze traffic control problems and to attend meetings as a tech-nical expert on traffic control matters. 

Desirable Qualifications: Similar to those enumerated for the Chief of Section.

Grade 4 - ($6,600 - $7,850 a year, Canadian funds) 

Duties: Under supervision of the Chief, Personnel Licensing Sec-tion, to study the implementation of the Personnel Licens-ing standards and recommended practices, with particular reference to training of flight crew memebrs and other licensed personnel; to study methods of increasing the effectiveness of ICAO standards and recommended practices by visual presentation through films, booklets, etc.; to study existing training services and desirable training methods and procedures; to assist in implementing the training pro-gramme approved by the Organization.
