Desirable Qualifications: Similar to those enumerated for the Chief Legal Bureau, with somewhat less extensive experience expected. 

Position: LEGAL OFFICER - Two positions
Grade 4 - ($6,600 - $7,850 a year, Canadian funds)
Grade 5 - ($5,600 - $6,850 a year, Canadian funds)

Duties: To conduct legal studies of such matters as contracts and agreements, national laws, etc., or to be responsible for registration, custody and analysis of agreements and contracts filed with ICAO, and the compilation of information on national law and regulations relating to aviation. 

Desirable Qualifications: Professional legal training, responsible legal experience, preferably in respect of international law or aviation law. 

Position: DEPUTY CHIEF, ADMINISTRATIVE BUREAU 
Two positions: (Deputy Chief(Administration))
(Deputy Chief(Information)
Grade 2 - ($8,500-$10,000 a year, Canadian funds)

Duties: Deputy Chief (Administration): To supervise and coordinate the activities of the Organization, Finance, Personnel and General Services Sections and be responsible for the execution of established policy and for coordinating policy and procedural recommendations originating therein. 

Desirable Qualifications: Training in public or business administration; experience in civil employment, either public or private, or in military administration, in fiscal administration, establishment work, organizational and procedural analysis or a combination of these, preferably with emphasis on fiscal administration. 

Duties: Deputy Chief(Information): To supervise and coordinate the work of Public Information, Languages, Editorial, Library, Production(internal duplication of documents by off-set printing), Distribution and Registry Sections; to oversee the implementation of policies relating to Public Information, Languages and Publications and develop recommendations for carrying out these activities. 

Desirable Qualifications: Training in public administration, publishing or business administration; experience in the general fields of the Public Information or Publications experience in coordination of planning, production and distribution of publications. 

Position: CHIEF, PUBLIC INFORMATION SECTION
Grade 3 - ($7,500 - $9,000 a year, Canadian funds)
Duties: To conduct, on behalf of the Organization, activities designation to furnish the interested public with information concerning the Organization's work; media may include press radio, general articles, pictures, films, exhibits, etc.' to maintain liaison with Public Information Offices dealing with international aviation matters in Contracting States; to report on trends of opinion in regard to aviation matters through press surveys and public opinion analysis. To answer general inquiries concerning the Organization's work.
