Desirable Qualifications: Training and experience in the field of public information, particularly in organizing public information programs to meet established public information objectives; familiarity with the use of  current public information methods: familiarity with the scope of informational activities in the aviation field in at least one major geographical are (Europe, North America, South America, etc.)

Position:  CHIEF, FINANCE SECTION/ Grade 4 - ($6.600 - $7,850 a year, Canadian funds)

Duties:    To supervise the work of the Finance Section in the re-
ceipt and disbursement of funds, preparation of financial statements, preparation and review of instructions relating to financial matters, preparation of budget estimates, and related functions; to perform related duties as required.

Desirable Qualifications:  Professional status as an accountant or equivalent: experience in financial ad-
ministration  or accounting in government or in commercial organiza-
tions; knowledge to budget and accounting methods; experience in establishing and improving accounting systems.

Position:  CHIEF, EDITORIAL SECTION/ Grade 4 - ($6,600 - $7,850 a year, Canadian funds)

Duties:    Under general supervision of a Deputy Chief of Bureau to be responsible for preparation and editing of non-tech-
nical publications of the Organization, (Monthly Bulletin, etc.) and for editing technical publications (standards and recommended practices, regional manuals, final reports, etc.)
 
Desirable Qualifications: Ability to write effectively; responsible experience in editing and production of technical publications; knowledge of current printing methods; ability to cooperate effectively with technical staff in publications program.

Position: SUPERVISOR,  FRENCH UNIT-LANGUAGE SECTION
Grade 4- $6,600-$7,850 a rear Canadian funds)

Duties: Under general supervision of the Chief of the Language Section, to direct the work of the staff of the translators working from English and Spanish into French; to distribute the workload; to review particularly difficult projects with revisers and to cooperate as necessary with experts in the technical sections to assure a high level of accuracy and uniformity in translations.

Desirable Qualifications: Academic training equivalent to university degree; mother-tongue French; good knowledge of English; knowledge of Spanish also useful. Ability to supervise experience in aviation or familiarity with aeronautical terminology an added qualification.
