FORM GE6 PRINTED IN U.S.A.
COLONIAL AIRLINES, INC.
INTER-OFFICE CORRESPONDENCE
TO: Captain M. Gitt DATE: 2-3-49
FROM: G.R. Janas
SUBJECT:

The company has decided to change the check pilot organization because of the growing need for a permanent check pilot who can devote his full time to the performance of his duties. Therefore, we have decided to appoint Mr. M. B. Woodworth to this position effective February 7, 1949, because of his long experience in the many aspects of aviation.

I think it would be a good idea for you to complete the qualification and check out of Roy Ralston so that he will have the advantage of a single instructor.

We wish to thank you for the splendid manner in which you have performed your duties as check pilot and would like to keep you on your roster of check pilots so that we could call upon you should you be needed. Will you please drop me a note or come in and see me regarding your wishes in this matter?
