Syracuse CTO
The CTO at Syracuse has requested that Colonial crews not congregate in the CTO. They are willing to cooperate in every way in order to supply information regarding the status of flights, but in come cases crews take advantage of this and are interfering with personnel in the performance of their duties. It is therefore requested that if you have a need to use facilities at the CTO, that you accomplish your business as rapidly as possible so that you were not interfere with and create undue burden on personnel working in the CTO.

Ferry Flights
Recently a ferry flight was delayed here at New York because there was no commissary equipment on board. The Passenger Service Department advised us that it is not necessary to delay flights in such instances since the stations which handle commissary equipment have adequate reserves.

Interphone- DC-3
The interphone between the stewardess station and the cockpit is being removed from our DC-3 aircraft. A buzzer which is actuated by the call button which pre-viously lighted the "stewardess call" light is being installed in the cockpit. Should the stewardess have some trouble entering the cockpit because of a stuck door or lost key or some other reason, she will signal with three buzzes on the buzzer.
