LETTER OF AGREEMENT
between
COLONIAL AIRLINES, INC.
and 
THE AIR LINE PILOTS
in the service of
COLONIAL AIRLINES, INC.
as represented by
THE AIR LINE PILOTS ASSOCIATION INTERNATIONAL

THIS LETTER OF AGREEMENT made and entered into in accordance with the provisions of the Railway Labor Art, as amended, by and between COLONIAL AIRLINES, INC. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and the Air Line Pilots in the service of COLONIAL AIRLINES, INC., as represented by the AIR LINE PILOTS ASSOCIATION, INTERNATIONAL (hereinafter referred to as the "Association").

WITNESSITH

WHEREAS, the Company and the Association desire to supplement their pilots' employment agreement effective August 1, 1949.

NOW THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed and understood by the parties of the mutual agreement that the rules and conditions of employment stipulated herein shall be in full force and effect provided that all parts of the agreement entered into by and between Colonial Airlines, Inc., and the Air Line Pilots Association as the representative of the Colonial Airlines, Inc., pilots effective August 1, 1949, not specifically changed in the Letter of Agreement shall remain in full force and effect for all of the first pilots and copilots of the Company.

1. Sufficient reserve pilot crews shall be maintained to cover schedules of regular assigned pilot crews when they are not available because of sickness, vacation, or other contingencies.

2. In case of reduction in force pilots affected will be permitted to exercise their seniority in one of the following manners:

(a) Bid on any vacancy open for system wide bidding.
