Dear Maury,

On Thursday, I received a copy of a letter addressed to you from our Council Chairman re-your letter of May 12 concerning my grievance.

It always amazes me to what great lenghts our people will goto confuse an issue. As I see it you simply asked in your letter of May 12 for advise on how to proceed with an action that the association was concerned with and wished to further along. to a satisfactory conclusion. For an answer, you were cited some law in the first paragraph some judgment without Logic or fact was rendered in the second paragraph a request for more information in the third paragraph and finaly in the last instance they left the door open to you ( more procrastination ) to continue the discussion by requesting further advise and assistance. All this was not entirly unexpected.

I don't know how you plan to proceed with this, however, I am wondering if there would be an value in a statement from you reiterating your previous request on how they would suggest the Association continue with an action all ready commited to by the Associationi.e the furthering of the grievance to a logical conclusion. After all, all we wanted from the Council is simply their cooperation. It is not necessary for them to sit in judgemnt on an action that has been continuing for the past three years. As I recall it all that we really attempted to do with your letter of May 12 was to acquaint the Council with what had happened and what we planned to do and did the Council have any suggestions on how best to proceed. The purpose of your letter was purely informative and a solicitation for cooperation and that is all. As I said in my letter to you of May26, well done. It is now certain that the Council missed the point completly. Maybe now all that is required is a blunt statement of what was meant in your letter Of May12th in the first place.

I am most deeply interested in your thoughts comments and guidance, please advise?

With best wishes for better Cooperation from Council#; and Kindest personal regards to you, from Connie and myself, I am,

Sincerely yours,

Michael A. Gitt
