Dear Captain Gitt:

In accordance with the System board of Adjustment section of the Agreement between Colonial Airlines, Inc. and the Air Lines Pilots Association, International, effective August 1, 1949, and letter of submission dated September 7, 1949 addressed to Mr. Warren C. Cooper, Jr., Chairman, pro tem, Colonial Airlines Pilots' System Board of Adjustment signed by Mr. David L Behncke, President, Air Line Pilots Association, the Board met on November 10, 1949 to hear ALPA Case No. 372.  those present were:

The Board reached a deadlock with two (2) votes "NO" and two (2) votes "YES" on the question at issue:

"Did the Company violate Sections 17 (c), 27 (a) or any other Section of the pilots Agreement in filling the vacancy on the Bermuda operation bulletined on or about May 19, 1949?"
