SUBJECT COLONIAL GRIEVANCE CASE

Dear Mr. Lampe:

I have your letter of July 20 respecting the Gitt grievance case. It is my opinion that if Gitt feels he has a good case it should be carried all the way through the grievance procedure.

Now that we have a section which provides for breaking deadlocks, it will not be possible for the company to block definite conclusions in all grievance cases.

Please pursue the matter vigorously to a conclusion.

Sincerely yours,

AIR LINE PILOTS ASSOCIATION
