Dear Mr. Janas:

This is to advise you that with respect to the greivance [[grievance]] filed by Capt. M.A.Gitt June 11, 1949, the members of our Council are in total accord and agreement with Capt. Gitt that the action of the Company in extending the Bermuda Vacation Vacancy bid from May 27, 1949 to June 3, 1949 was in direct violation of Section 27, paragraph (a) of the Pilots Working Agreement with the Company.

Therefore, you are hereby advised that the greivance [[grievance]] filed by Capt. Gitt has the entire support and backing of our Council.
