Still [[strikethrough]] understandably [[/strikethrough]] opposed to the idea of the Company asking us to ask any pilot to waive his rights to grieve on any question. The principal is all wrong. The precedent it establishes could very well be disastrous to all pilots & ACPA. Suggest you discuss [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] entire matter with Mr. Behncke as to headquarters policy. If Mr. Behncke [[strikethrough]] is [[/strikethrough]] in agreement suggest you then wire Captains Murray & Nittenweiler & advise them not to write or discuss the question with the Company. Also suggest you wire company & advise them that we can not go along with their idea as it is not headquarters policy to prevent any pilot from grieving.

This whole idea of asking us to ask a pilot to waive his rights to grieve is a dirty low trick. This measure is comparable to a no Strike Clause in a Contract.

Urge you to return to New York immediately & lets begin to fight this grievance properly, lets get off the defensive.
