SUBJECT:

On February 8th I was on Flight 411 coming down from Montreal.

Captain Gitt was in command and it was a smooth flight despite some heavy tail winds. Excellent landing.

I was impressed by Captain Gitt making a trip down the aisle of the plane - he wore a friendly smile and nodded to various passengers as he passed. I think passengers appreciate this friendly, personal touch.

The loudspeaker was in good working order and Captain Gitt made use of it several times to pass along to passengers interesting comment regarding the progress of the flight, landmarks, etc. I think this is a good idea - it is not only of interest to the passenger but it gives them something to remember and talk about.

Thought you might be interested in the above comment.

Transcription Notes:
I was unsure if I needed to capture the handwritten note at top: It appears to say "Capt. Gitt. For [unintelligible] info." signed Bob.
