Dear Mr. Gitt:

Because of your interest in the matter and the fact that you called it to Headquarters attention, please be advised that we have been notified that the Colonial hearing has been moved to New York where it will be held on June 18. How do you suggestit be handled?

It may run into a long period and the expense of taking someone and putting him on flight pay loss is prohibitive and hiring a lawyer is also prohibitive. It is a matter that should be handled by the Colonial pilots as it's actually their problem. Wire me your recommendations.

We don't want to get pilots from other air lines involved because, in the first place, we cannot stand flight pay loss and expenses and we don't wantto get lawyers involved because their charges are $150 a day. Please advise by wire your thoughts in the matter.

With best regards, I am

Sincerely yours,
AIR LINE PILOTS ASSOCIATION
